This session reviews the regulations, policies and procedures that generate letters of investigation and provides some best practices for developing and delivering responses.

Objectives
Upon completion of this session, participants will have the tools to understand:

• How to apply the FAA’s compliance and enforcement requirements to a maintenance environment.
• How to utilize documentation produced during interactions with aviation safety inspectors in further enforcement proceedings.
• How to produce an appropriate response to an LOI.
