This session will delineate the differences between operator maintenance records and those required to be created, maintained and provided by repair stations.

 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this session, participants will have the tools to understand how to:

  • Find regulatory requirements and standards, including the repair station obligations for creating and maintaining inspection and maintenance records under parts 43 and 145.
  • Differentiate between operator and the repair station’s safety and recordkeeping responsibilities.
  • Distinguish among and between aviation recordkeeping requirements and contractual obligations.

 

Target Audience

Air carriers, private aircraft owners, part 145 repair station maintenance providers’ personnel and individual mechanics and technicians working for repair stations or air carriers.
