This session provides methods for submitting effective comments on Federal Aviation Administration rulemaking proposals and on other documents that are posted for feedback from stakeholders.

Upon completion of this session, participants will have the tools to understand:

• Why it is important to submit comments on rulemaking proposals and on guidance documents which are posted for feedback from stakeholders.
• The basic requirements and steps for developing comments.
• The key components for make comments substantive.

Target audience:       

Anyone working with federal agencies that are subject to the Administrative Procedure Act. It is particularly important to persons governed by the aviation safety regulations controlled by the Federal Aviation Administration.
