FAA-CAAC Implementation Procedures for Airworthiness
Description The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) entered a new bilateral agreement on Oct. 17, 2017. The Implementation Procedures for Airworthiness (IPA) replace and terminate the previous agreement, the Schedule of Implementation Procedures (SIP), which had been signed in 1995.
This webinar mirrors the presentation delivered to FAA staff in November 2017, focusing on the use of the IPA when the FAA is acting as the Certifying Authority. It is intended to provide industry with the background and major concepts of the agreement, and highlight specific areas relevant to CAAC validation of U.S. products.
